New Fire Truck for Ferryland Volunteer Fire Department

The Town of Ferryland unveiled a new fire truck on August 13, 2022.

The town split the purchase of the new fire truck with the provincial government at an 80/20 ratio. This means of the $367,000 cost, the Town paid about $67,000.

The Ferryland Volunteer Fire Department covers the area from Brigus South, to Aquaforte, including Admirals Cove and Horse Chops.
